New owners Bill and Dawna Romine welcome you to our beautiful park. Located at almost 9,000 ft in the Lincoln National Forest, about 5 miles from Cloudcroft, NM and just 34 miles from the Inn of the Mountain Gods in Ruidoso, NM. We have a laid back family environment for those looking to get away and enjoy the mountain air. Long and short term sites available as well as rainbow trout fishing. We offer full hook ups (water, sewer & electric). A game area with horseshoe pits, tetherball, ladder ball, and beautiful mountain views. With plenty of wildlife from elk, deer, turkey, wild horses, hummingbirds and an occasional bear! The trout pond is about an acre in size and stocked weekly throughout the summer months. No catch & release, we clean and bag them up for you.

Our premimum sites are larger and some located in a more secluded area. Full hookup service provide for all of our sites.

Our dry camping sites are designed for you to enjoy the comforts of the mountains with visibility to the pond.
If you like to keep it simple, try tent camping. Our tent sites are 25'x25' with a fire ring and picnic table.
Park Information and Rules
CHECK IN/OUT
Check in after 2:00pm, check out by 11:00am.
RESERVATONS
Silver Springs RV Park and Trout Pond is a family-oriented campground, all persons in a party must be 21 years of age to register in our campground or must have a parent staying with the party the entire stay.
Weekends require a minimum of 2-night reservation. Long (Holiday) weekends require minimum 3-night reservation. Fees slightly higher for long weekend and special event weekends. For organized group reservations, please contact the office.
Full payment required upon making reservation. No tents allowed on RV spaces.
Note: For the safety of our guests and staff, we do not recommend check-ins after dark - $50.00 charge for check-ins after 8 pm. Please call the office to schedule a late check-in.
RV Requirements
A sewer hose seal (rubber donut or threaded connector) for your sewer hose is REQUIRED on all sewer hookups. All septic connections must be air tight. No duct tape. If you do not have a sewer hose seal, we have them for purchase.
All sites are back-in. Any damage to the site will be billed to the guest.
Maximum of 2 adults per site and 2 children. Additional charge for additional adults and children.
Each site is limited to one (1) RV and one (1) vehicle. Additional charge for additional vehicles.
The RV must be well maintained and in excellent overall condition.
No repairs or maintenance may be done in the park, except by approved park mobile services. Inoperable or unlicensed vehicles are not permitted in the park.
TENT AREA
Maximum of 2 adults per site and 2 children. Additional charge for additional adults and children.
Tent(s) must stay within the designated tent space. All vehicles must be parked in the designated parking area.
TROUT POND
Hours of operation may vary. No catch and release. A $50 fee will be applied for unauthorized fishing and catch and release; you will be asked to leave. No smoking in the trout pond area. Ice Chest / Coolers limited to 35-quart capacity.
ATV/UTV
ATVs and UTVs must exhibit a state Registration. They may not be used during quiet hours. No riding around the park and no revving or tuning of those vehicles inside the park. Into and out of the park only. Motorcycles, ATVs, mini-bikes and scooters may only be used to and from the designated overflow parking areas. They are subject to additional daily charges.
CAMPFIRES
Use only the designated fire rings. Campfires may be restricted based on fire danger. Extinguish fires completely, Fires must never be higher than 18 inches. Fire rings are for firewood ONLY – food scraps, cigarette butts, plastic, aluminum cans, bread ties, etc. do not belong. Never leave fires unattended.
FIREWOOD
No removal of branches and no gathering of fire wood on the property. We do sell firewood. All fires must be extinguished at night, please do your part to ensure the safety of the park and those around you.
SMOKING/ALCOHOL
Smoking is to be limited to your campsite. There is no smoking allowed in any of the public areas including the office, clubhouse and trout pond.
Parties are strictly prohibited. Creation of a disturbance, intoxication or annoyances of any kind including loud music is strictly prohibited. You may be subject to be evicted from the park and you will not be refunded.
GARBAGE
Please bring your garbage to the designated spot in visitor parking. Do not leave any food out that will attract uninvited pests and animals. A fee will apply if the site is left with trash.
VISITORS
All visitors must park in visitors parking at the front of the park, camping rates will apply for overnight visitors. Registered guests are responsible for the actions and behavior of their visitors.
QUIET TIME
Quiet time is Sundown to 10 a.m. We encourage a 24/7 quite park so everyone can enjoy the sounds of crackling fires and wonderful conversations.
BANNED ITEMS
Discharging firearms, air guns, slingshots, fireworks, drones, chainsaws, generators are not permitted. No tents on RV sites.
PETS
Friendly pets are welcome but must be kept under control and on a leash. Pets must not be left unattended at any time. You must clean up after your pet. The Park reserves the right to ban any pets from the park. No pets in the Clubhouse. A $100 cleaning fee will be applied post-check out if pet waste is left on the rented site.
VEHICLE PARKING
You are permitted 1 vehicle per site. You are encouraged to use the parking areas to minimize vehicles in the RV and Tent Area. All tent camping vehicles must be parked in the designated parking areas. Extra vehicles must park in visitor parking lot and an additional fee will be charged. No sleeping in vehicles.
CHILDREN MUST BE SUPERVISED
Parents and guardians are responsible for their children’s action and safety. An adult must accompany campers under 18. Children under 12 must be under adult supervision at all times. Please do not allow your children to climb trees or harm the wildlife.
PAYMENT:
Full payment required at time of reservation. We accept MC, VISA, Discover.
Cancellation fees:
14 days or more before arrival date $20 charged for each site booked
7 to 13 days before arrival date 50% of reservation charged for each site booked
less than 7 days before arrival date to arrival date, no refunds.
Exceptions are not made due to weather
MANAGEMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO:
Management reserves the right to refuse entry to any person and evict anyone for noncompliance of rules without refund. Management will have access to any site at all times for the purpose of service and utilities/maintenance. Silver Springs RV Park and Trout Pond LLC does not accept responsibility for personal injury or loss to persons, pets or property incurred by campers or their visitor. Guests and their visitors agree to use the campground at their own risk. We reserve the right to make changes to the rules, regulations, and fees that we deem necessary.
